On January 30 & 31, 2015, leaders of Communities United for Police Reform joined advocates and experts to present testimony to the President's Task Force on 21st Century Policing public listening sessions on "Policy & Oversight" and "Technology & Social Media".
Testimony submitted from Communities United for Police Reform (CPR), CPR member organizations, and partners emphasized the crisis of discriminatory and abusive policing in communities of color, as well as LGBT and Women of Color experiences of policing. Comments offered a series of actionable recommendations for reforming policing at the federal, state, and municipal level.
