While Colin Kaepernick's NFL remains in limbo, the movement he kicked off is going strong.
Rappers Meek Mill, Joey Bada$$ and Nick Cannon have each donated $10,000 to Kaepernick's Communities United for Police Reform in New York City charity.
As part of the former NFL star's "Million Dollar Pledge", in which he vowed to donate $1 million to various non-profits to help oppressed communities across the United States, Kaepernick matched Meek's donation.
In a tweet, Kaepernick said: "He pledged to go 10for10 on my MillionDollarPledge. We’re both donating $10k for a combined $20k to Youth Service Inc. Keep staying strong Meek, we love you brother!"
Previously, artists like Jhene Aiko, Snoop Dogg, Chris Brown and T.I. have donated to the cause.
